I ran threw the door and sat at an empty table.

Stella sprinted through the doorway and almost crashed into a waitress, who glared at her. "Sorry!" Stella yelled, dodging around some customers and sitting at Carter's table.

I gave her a wide grin, "Ready to order?"

I got up to the line, "Spicy italian with bannana peppers, american cheese, lettuce, onion, and pickels."

Stella walked up to the line, "Cheese, tomato, pickles, and lettuce."

I picked up a bag of chips and put some money on the counter as I got our food.

"Thanks," Stella said, smiling. She walked back to the table and sat down again.

Stella felt like a total idiot; she didn't know what that meant. She didn't trust herself to answer.

I laughed as I took a bite out of the sub, "You like the food?"
